About This Site

In one form or another, I have hosted a personal website since December 10, 1996. At that time I began a site on geocities.com (long before they were part of Yahoo!) at the now-defunct address www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/3101.

In 2001 I purchased the domain mattjfuller.com and the site was hosted by Net Results.

Over the years, several website development tools have been used to create and maintain this site including HTML in a text editor, Claris Home Page, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady, Apple iPhoto, and others. Currently, the entire site has been re-created in Apple iWeb and using other Apple iLife and iWork applications to manage and organize the content. A few Web 2.0 tools are also in use (Delicious, pbwiki, Google Docs, etc.)

Currently, mattjfuller.com resides on Apple’s MobileMe service. This setup allows me to easily use Apple’s iWeb functionality to maintain my interactive blog, photo album sites, and counters, while simultaneously allowing me to store specific materials (such as conference and presentation downloads) at my mattjfuller.com address with a simple URL.

The display font is Morphica Bold by Nick Shinn available at Veer. The body font is Trebuchet MS by Vincent Connare (a Microsoft font licensed for both the Mac OS and Windows).

The majority of the current design is based upon the “Modern” template in Apple iWeb (iLife), but it has been completely customized.

This version of mattjfuller.com was launched on January 3, 2008.

TMI? Probably.
